RDG Concrete builds upon three generations of concrete industry knowledge. Mr. Russel Godoy Jr. and Ms. Shavon Godoy will own and operate RDG Concrete, drawing on their generational knowledge and passion for the concrete market, passed down from their father and grandfather. Mr. Godoy entered the construction industry after an Honorable Discharge from the United States Marine Corps, where he spent a decade of his career gaining an in-depth understanding of the inner workings of construction sites and the demands for concrete services. Ms. Godoy brings nearly 10 years of financial and administrative experience to the Company. She will focus primarily on streamlining RDG Construction’s operations and financials, as well as assist with client relations. Together, Mr. and Ms. Godoy’s expertise will greatly benefit the Company’s growth and success.The Company intends to bring its expertise to projects throughout Southern California, primarily focusing its attention on commercial projects with contractors, developers, and project management groups. 

In our first years of operation, the Company will operate as a sub-contractor for a larger business as we establishes ourself. RDG Concrete will focus its attention on building its reputation with smaller commercial jobs, interspersed with potential residential work to supplement revenue as needed, and establishing a dedicated, skilled crew with the same commitment to a high-quality finished product as the Company’s owner. Mr. Godoy’s time in the military ingrained the benefits of teamwork and shared standards, a mentality he intends to cultivate within his team. A far cry from an owner sitting in an office, Mr. Godoy works alongside his employees. The Company aims to establish a team of five in the first year of business.

By Year Three, RDG Concrete intends to have a crew of 10 and will explore larger projects as its own contractor. We will strive to reach out to larger commercial developers and property managers for new projects and intends to expand and encompass all concrete services in-house.

As our company continues to grow, RDG Concrete plans to explore working with government contractors. As a Veteran-Owned Business, the Company will potentially qualify for preferential access to local, state, or federal government contracts, which would streamline the process of finding contract opportunities.
